Summary
Join Freebird, a high-growth DTC brand, as a senior leader focused on optimizing DTC shopping experiences globally. Your mission is to increase conversion rates, average order value, and revenue per visitor. You will own the digital product strategy and roadmap, lead a high-velocity testing program, and architect a global-ready DTC experience. Responsibilities include conversion rate optimization, UX/UI excellence, offer framing, and managing international scale and technical infrastructure. The role requires extensive experience in DTC eCommerce site optimization, leading CRO and UX/UI teams, and deep Shopify Plus expertise. Requirements
- 7–10+ years in DTC eCommerce site optimization, with proven lifts in CVR, AOV, and RPV
- Experience leading CRO, UX/UI, and digital product teams in-house at high-growth consumer brands
- Deep Shopify Plus expertise, with hands-on experience using Shopify Markets to scale internationally
- Proven success launching localized, high-performing sites in multiple countries
- Expert in funnel strategy, offer testing, and landing page optimization
- Strong grasp of persuasive design, customer psychology, and performance copy principles
- High-velocity, data-led testing mindset—capable of moving from insight to live test in days, not weeks
Responsibilities
- Own the digital product vision and site performance roadmap, tied directly to revenue and contribution margin goals
- Lead a high-velocity testing program that mixes rapid optimization of existing funnels with bold experiments in new designs, flows, and offers
- Architect and scale a global-ready DTC experience, accounting for market-specific pricing, currencies, compliance, and shipping
- Run continuous testing across multiple funnels, delivering both incremental wins and breakthrough lifts
- Translate analytics, heatmaps, and VOC insights into hypotheses, test briefs, and rapid iterations
- Partner with paid, retention, and creative teams to ensure site experiences amplify acquisition efforts in every market
- Lead designers to create visually premium, conversion-focused interfaces
- Integrate strategic copy, offer positioning, and persuasion into every page—from landers to checkout
- Maintain a consistent, high-trust visual language while adapting to cultural nuances in global markets
- Own the Shopify Plus & Shopify Markets setup, ensuring fast, compliant, and localized experiences
- Oversee currency, language, tax, and regulatory adaptations while keeping the experience frictionless
- Manage app integrations, personalization tools, and subscription logic that work across regions
- Ensure our global infrastructure can handle high-volume traffic without performance loss
