Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in finance and financial operations, preferably in a Payments/B2B SaaS/FinTech environment
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree required
  • Strong analytical background with proficiency in financial modeling and strategic planning activities
  • Dynamic leader with the ability to motivate and inspire a team through clear communication and effective KPIs
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic initiatives to drive business growth and scalability
  • Experience in mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and investor relations
  • Proven track record of implementing and maintaining financial systems and processes for operational efficiency
  • Continuous improvement mindset and demonstrated agility for setting the pace to transform an organization
  • Strong strategic background and possess an understanding of how to deliver and drive change to optimize, grow and scale a business
  • Excellent relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders, including banks and investors
  • Commitment to compliance with all financial regulations and standards

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the finance function
  • Lead and mentor, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability
  • Oversee key finance functions including financial planning and analysis, budgeting/forecasting, strategic long-range planning, internal and investor financial reporting
  • Maintain and operationalize OKR structure in partnership with the CFO and Head of Transformation and Business Acceleration, including monitoring and company level reporting, including interlock with weekly and monthly business reviews
  • Convert financial trends into opportunities, insights and actions for revenue growth, cost reduction and operational improvements
  • Upgrade and modernize financial models. Work closely with the Data and Analytics team, Go-To-Market and Operations functions to embed and improve the forecasting accuracy of complex revenue, margin, and cost driving assumptions
  • Work closely with Go-To-Market functions, including Sales, Marketing and Revenue Operations to ensure appropriate planning controls for sales and marketing production models, and measurement of the efficiency of go-to-market investments
  • Develop and maintain strategic multi-year planning cycle and financial model. Work with Product organization to build complex business case evaluations in support of long-range planning initiatives
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to execute and optimize revenue driving initiatives including improvements in speed to revenue cycle, churn optimization and pricing
  • Collaborate with CFO to develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with overall business objectives
  • Implement improvements to financial systems and processes, identify AI enhancements to improve efficiency and support business transformation initiatives. Better leverage the tools of existing financial systems and data warehouse to improve reporting cycle times
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including banks and investors. Work closely with private equity partners to provide timely and accurate financial information, supporting their investment strategies and objectives
  • Prepare financial presentations for senior management, investors, and Board of Directors
  • Participate in merger and acquisition activities as required
