Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
• Extensive experience (10+ years) in a senior management role within the life insurance industry in mid-cap/large-cap size companies (or private equivalent)
• Industry designations preferred
• Proven track record in managing P&L responsibilities and meeting profit and growth targets
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to drive operational improvements and align teams with strategic goals
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience working alongside executive leadership and Board members
• Demonstrated expertise in managing large, cross-functional teams and leading organizational change

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the Life Division, including New Business, Underwriting (UW), and Operations, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with business goals
• Manage the division’s profit and loss in coordination with the executive team to achieve targeted financial outcomes
• Collaborate with the Board of Directors, CEO, corporate staff, and external stakeholders, representing the Life Division’s interests and ensuring seamless communication
• Work closely with executive leadership to shape and implement company strategies that support annual profit and growth targets for the Life Division
• Drive day-to-day management of the Life Division, focusing on efficient business processes and fostering improvements across all Life functions
• Ensure effective execution of strategic and tactical initiatives, integrating corporate goals into division operations for cohesive performance
• Exercise strategic, operational, and administrative decision-making in response to evolving market conditions and internal dynamics
• Oversee the preparation and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports to track the Life Division’s progress against goals
