Summary

The VP of Clinical Operations will manage Lumata Health's virtual eye care services, oversee a team, ensure operational efficiency, compliance, and quality patient care. The role requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in clinical operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Remote work is expected with occasional travel.

Requirements

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). Minimum of 10 years of experience in clinical operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Skills & Competencies: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, in-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards, financial acumen, exceptional communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Management: Oversee a team of directors, provide strategic leadership, advocate for clinical operations /resources at a senior management level
  • Operational Oversight: Ensure efficient and effective day-to-day operations of clinical services, implement and monitor processes to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
  • Quality & Compliance: Oversee quality assurance programs, ensure all clinical operations comply with relevant regulations and industry standards
  • Training & Development: Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive training programs for care coaches
  • Financial Management: Oversee billing operations, manage the budget for the clinical operations department
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and execution of the company’s strategic plans, identify opportunities for growth and improvement within the clinical operations function
  • Customer Success & Patient Acquisition: Collaborate closely with the patient acquisition team, develop strategies to enhance patient engagement and satisfaction
  • Scaling Operations: Lead efforts to rapidly scale Lumata’s clinical operations to meet growing demand, develop and implement scalable processes and systems
