Requirements

  • Extensive experience managing and optimizing eCommerce websites for direct-to-consumer brands
  • Demonstrated success in running high-impact testing programs, including A/B and multivariate testing, with measurable improvements in conversion rates, average order value (AOV), and customer lifetime value (CLTV)
  • Advanced understanding of website analytics, event tracking, and performance reporting. Ability to turn raw data into actionable insights that drive key business decisions
  • Deep familiarity with Shopify and its ecosystem (e.g., ReCharge, app integrations), front-end development principles, technical SEO, and eCommerce platform operations
  • Strong ability to partner with marketing teams to align website performance with broader acquisition and retention goals, driving measurable improvements in traffic conversion
  • Proven ability to hire, mentor, and lead high-performing teams, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability. Experience scaling teams to meet the needs of a growing business
  • Strong understanding of user experience design principles, customer behavior, and product management, with a focus on crafting seamless and engaging customer journeys
  • Ability to clearly articulate strategies, results, and data insights to stakeholders while effectively managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a comprehensive eCommerce strategy, aligning website goals with overall business objectives
  • Oversee a high-impact testing and optimization program to improve conversion rates and user experience
  • Build and lead a world-class eCommerce team, fostering a culture of innovation, data-driven decision-making, and excellence
  • Manage all aspects of the website, from Shopify operations to app integrations and site performance
  • Develop localized website strategies to scale Freebird’s global presence
  • Ensure trustworthy analytics frameworks and use data insights to inform decisions and measure success

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with subscription-based models and scaling high-growth businesses
  • Experience designing and implementing semi-localized experiences to optimize international growth, including managing multi-region strategies for performance and usability
