Requirements

  • Track record of success delivering scalable enterprise software solutions on time and within budget
  • Experience leading global engineering teams (40+ people), with success hiring, coaching, and scaling organizations
  • Deep understanding of Agile, engineering best practices, and product lifecycle management to drive predictable, high-velocity product delivery
  • Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution when needed
  • 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in senior leadership roles
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement engineering strategies, standards, and best practices to ensure high-quality, scalable, and secure software
  • Collaborate with Product Management, the CTO, Support, and Professional Services to develop a competitive roadmap that balances technical priorities with customer-facing features
  • Own the end-to-end execution of the roadmap, ensuring strategic planning, on-time delivery and budget adherence
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain HICXโ€™s competitive edge
  • Recruit, mentor, and retain a high-performing engineering team
  • Foster a collaborative, customer-centric culture of continuous learning and innovation
  • Define department goals to achieve HICX company objectives. Define and track key performance indicators for engineering productivity and product success
  • Communicate engineering strategies, plans, and progress clearly across technical and executive teams
  • Contribute to company strategy as a senior executive, ensuring technology and business objectives are aligned

Experience with B2B products, low-code platforms, AI, data and integration platforms
