Summary
Join Blockworks as VP of Product and lead the Product, Data, and Research teams in shaping the next generation of crypto transparency tools. You will collaborate with co-founders to define and champion the product vision, prioritize the roadmap, and ensure high-quality product delivery. This role demands deep customer understanding, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven decision-making. You will build and mentor a world-class product team, representing product at the executive level. The ideal candidate is crypto-native, has experience scaling SaaS platforms, and thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. Requirements
- Experience aside, you must be crypto-native to be successful in this role
- In addition to being intimately involved in the crypto industry, you’ve led Product at a high-growth company where you built and scaled a SaaS platform; ideally from the ground up
- You’ve worked in fast-paced environments where ambiguity is constant, but the bar for quality never drops
- You’ve led product teams, managed multiple product lines, and worked shoulder-to-shoulder with Engineering, Design, and Sales to ship meaningful products
- You’ve spent years in the crypto space—not just watching from the sidelines but deep in the weeds
- You’ve lived through the bear and bull cycles, understand the competitive landscape, and can talk fluently about on-chain data, protocols, and DAOs and their unique needs
Responsibilities
- Set and Evangelize Product Vision: In partnership with our co-founders and product owners, you’ll define and champion our short and long-term product vision that aligns with our mission and scales alongside the business
- Be the Voice of the Customer: You’ll go deep and engrain yourself in the feedback and perspectives of our customers, synthesizing user insights, market trends, and competitive intelligence to guide strategic decisions and shape new product bets
- Own the Product Roadmap: You’ll drive the prioritization and execution of a strategic roadmap that balances user needs, business impact, and technical feasibility
- Drive Cross-Functional Execution: You’ll partner with Engineering, Research, Design, and GTM teams to ensure high-quality, timely, and consistent product delivery
- Measure What Matters: You’ll define success metrics, track performance, and instill a data-informed mindset across the team
- Level Up the Function: You’ll put systems, rituals, and frameworks in place that improve decision-making, accelerate delivery, and enable scale
- Build and Lead a World-Class Team: You’ll hire, mentor, and empower a team of product owners and product managers who innovate new solutions, deliver results and grow with the company
- Represent Product at the Executive Level: You’ll serve as a key voice on the leadership team, aligning stakeholders and making trade-offs with context and clarity
Preferred Qualifications
- If you’ve worked at the intersection of media, data, and analytics, we want to hear about it
- If you’ve built tools for institutional investors or crypto-native operators, that could set you apart from other candidate
- We’d love it if you’ve also worked with founders before and helped shape the company’s product rhythm and culture from the ground up
