Join Pathward as the Vice President of Product Commercialization, Acquiring, and lead the acquiring strategy for our enablement sponsorship business. This leadership position involves managing a team of Directors and Product Line Managers. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience
  • Typically 12+ years with bachelor's or equivalent
  • 10+ years in payments, with extensive experience in acquiring, sponsor banking, fintech enablement, or BaaS banks
  • Deep knowledge of Visa/Mastercard acquiring rules, ATM sponsorship models, and real-time/faster payment solutions
  • Proven track record in managing acquiring relationships, partner programs, and network compliance
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and operational requirements for sponsor banks (e.g., OCC, BSA/AML, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of card network rules and compliance (Visa, Mastercard, etc.) related to acquiring
  • Experience working with the broad acquiring ecosystem including ISOs, payment processors, payment facilitators, etc
  • Strong knowledge of interchange, settlement, chargeback, and risk management in acquiring
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with partners, networks, and regulators

Responsibilities

  • Drives revenue growth by developing new solutions and expanding use of existing products
  • Partners with cross functional teams to set the product strategy, priorities, and roadmap
  • Understands the needs and problems of both Pathward partners and end users
  • Partners with internal areas to perform market research and discovery
  • Owns strategic relationships with key third party partners. Recommend new relationships as needed
  • Manages the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical implementations
  • Monitors and communicates product performance, key metrics, and relevant partner/user feedback
  • Drives the go-to-market strategy for new products and enhancements, working with various internal departments to execute
  • Manages product P/L. Support forecasting and annual budget planning
  • Develops industry expertise by attending industry events, consuming industry research, and analyzing the competitive landscape
  • Other duties as assigned
