This role demands a proven track record in early-stage B2B SaaS startups and a deep understanding of enterprise platform features. Requirements
- 10 years product management experience with 3-5 years leading product teams of 10 or more
- Proven success in early-stage B2B SaaS startups (Series A to Series B)
- Track record of delivering enterprise platform features like analytics, reporting, and third-party integrations
- Ability to understand customer problems, pain, and workflows – translating those insights into product strategy and roadmap
- Data-driven – uses and demands both quant and qual to guide decisions
- Strength in working with executive leadership to develop and execute on the company product strategy
- Success in shipping products from 0 to 1 and iterating based on customer feedback
- Strong communicator with execs, engineers, customers, and investors
- Hands-on approach – no ivory tower product strategy mindset
- Company first mindset - puts the company goals and objectives ahead of the individual
Responsibilities
- Work with executive leadership to develop Freshpaint's product strategy and roadmap
- Hire, develop, and lead the product team that helps us execute on Freshpaint's product strategy
- Build an agile development process that drives roadmap execution through shipping and iterating quickly
- Work closely with customer facing teams to develop a customer-centric culture and ability to translate insights into product
- Work cross-functionally to identify and develop new features and products that retain customers, unlock expansion opportunities, increase new business velocity, and expand our TAM
- Partner with engineering leadership to turn two functions (product and engineering) into one team that executes at a high level
