Summary

Join Degreed as the VP of Product Management and lead the Platform Product team. You will define and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Degreed’s enterprise platform, overseeing key capabilities like APIs, security, and platform architecture. This leadership role requires extensive SaaS platform experience, strong technical acumen, and exceptional communication skills. You will manage a high-performing team, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and drive product development from ideation to launch. Requirements

  • 10+ years of product management experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role within SaaS companies
  • Deep expertise in enterprise software and SaaS platform ecosystems
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and the ability to adapt quickly to change
  • Experience with API-driven platforms, developer ecosystems, and platform-level tools like Jira and Aha!
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the strategic vision for the platform, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives and evolving market needs
  • Build and maintain an outcome-focused product roadmap
  • Manage competing priorities and evolving requirements in a fast-paced environment
  • Prioritize impactful initiatives to achieve measurable outcomes
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of product managers, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture
  • Partner with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to align strategies and deliver seamless product launches
  • Conduct market research, customer interviews, and competitive analysis to inform product strategy and identify new opportunities
  • Oversee the product lifecycle from ideation to sunset, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with market needs
  • Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring the platform meets and exceeds user expectations
  • Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and refine strategy
  • Equip internal teams with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively sell, market, and support the platform

Preferred Qualifications

Background in corporate learning, HR information systems, or enterprise learning solutions
