Requirements

  • Proven sales leadership: 10+ years of progressive experience in sales, with at least 5+ years leading and scaling high-performing teams in global or multi region capacities
  • Strategic operator: A track record of owning and delivering commercial strategies across multiple markets or customer segments
  • You can navigate complexity, build scalable systems, and tie day-to-day execution to long-term business goals
  • Customer first relationship builder: Executive presence and credibility with C-level stakeholders
  • You know how to build trust fast and are passionate about solving problems for customers
  • Deal and process excellence: Skilled in leading complex sales cycles, negotiating high-value contracts, and working closely with legal and finance
  • You bring precision and discipline to every stage of the sales funnel
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Responsibilities

  • Own and scale Primer’s global sales strategy: Lead the design, execution, and continual refinement of Primer’s end-to-end sales strategy across all markets
  • You will be responsible for setting the commercial vision, aligning cross-functional resources, and delivering against ambitious revenue targets
  • This includes owning key deals, iterating on playbooks, and driving expansion into new verticals and geographies
  • Build, inspire and uplevel a world class sales team: Lead a high-performing, distributed team of BDMs and sales leaders, fostering a culture of accountability, clarity, and ambition
  • You’ll not only hire and scale top talent, but also develop and retain them by building clear career paths and development opportunities
  • Act as a strategic growth partner across Primer: Collaborate with Product, Partnerships, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure sales is embedded in every stage of the customer lifecycle
  • You will bring the voice of the customer into the business, ensure tight GTM alignment, and translate market feedback into action
  • Drive operational excellence and commercial rigor : Instill a culture of data-driven decision-making, urgency, and reliability with a strong emphasis on collaboration with our Revenue Operations and Finance teams
  • You'll improve sales efficiency by refining forecasting, territory planning, pipeline management (Salesforce), and performance metrics ensuring Primer's growth is predictable, sustainable, and aligned to our broader business goals

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in B2B SaaS, fintech, or payments is strongly preferred
