Summary

Join Clearent by Xplor as the VP of Sales, Direct Sales in the Mid-Atlantic region to lead and grow a direct sales division. You will build, manage, and lead a team, exceeding sales goals and consistently recruiting to expand the territory. Responsibilities include optimizing team performance, providing insightful reporting, managing key partnerships, ensuring team professionalism, and marketing new products and services. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience managing sales teams in payment acquisition, a proven ability to build successful teams, and excellent communication and presentation skills. The position offers a fully remote work arrangement within specified states and a competitive compensation package.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience effectively managing a sales team in the payment acquisition industry
  • Experience building a successful team
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, relationship building and presentation skills
  • Strong work ethic with a drive to excel
  • PC proficient with Microsoft Office Suite experience
  • Location: You can work fully remote in this position, provided you have eligible working rights, and you are in the territory states of Virgina, North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virgina, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Nebraska, Iowa and Minnesota

Responsibilities

  • Build, manage and lead a direct sales division at Clearent by Xplor which includes Regional Sales Directors, District Managers and Account Executives
  • Achieve and surpass team sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Heavily and consistently recruit to build and continue to expand their territory
  • Demonstrate integrity and ethics in representing the Clearent by Xplor brand
  • Drive team to exceed the sales plan on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis by utilizing Clearent’s systemic approach to activity management and accountability
  • Optimize the team by maximizing the performance of current team members while simultaneously recruiting high-performing new team members
  • Provide succinct, insightful reporting to management; accurately forecast future sales; forward proactive recommendations to address key issues or concerns
  • Solicit and manage key partner relationships (associations, VARs, other)
  • Ensure professionalism of team members in communications, attendance of training sessions and use of social media tools
  • Market additional Clearent by Xplor products and services as they are introduced under company guidelines
  • Learn and understand all hardware, software, and reporting offered by Clearent and effectively communicate this information to prospects, clients, and Account Executives
  • Demonstrate expertise and knowledge of Clearent’s programs (Compass, gateway, etc.) and provide consistent reinforcement of the Clearent selling system to direct reports
