Summary

Join MATRIX Aviation Management, a national company providing logistics and aviation management services, as a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Worker. This seasonal position supports clients' warehousing and inventory management needs at various mine sites and remote locations. You will receive, inspect, and document shipments, unpack and repack materials, manage inventory, and maintain a clean and organized warehouse. The role requires physical stamina for 12-hour shifts and involves working in remote locations with team rotations. This is a project-based assignment lasting until the end of August, with charter flights provided from Edmonton, AB.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse or inventory-related role; preferably in a remote camp setting
  • Previous experience in remote camp or remote site environments highly desired
  • Proven ability to work on your feet for long hours (up to 12 hours), including physically demanding tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, and repetitive movement
  • Ability to verify and record parts and materials accurately, with strong attention to detail
  • Experience unpacking shipping containers/crates, repacking, and managing parts inventory
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain a well-organized workspace
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with inventory management software, basic computer applications, and data recording
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
  • Flexibility to work extended shifts, including overtime, and support staffing rotations starting around July 11th
  • Willingness to support a project-based assignment through the end of August

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments and crates of parts and materials, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to safety protocols
  • Unpack shipping containers and crates, verify goods against packing slips, and record material quantities accurately
  • Repack parts and materials into designated storage locations within the warehouse, maintaining organized bin locations
  • Manage inventory by conducting regular stock counts, tracking parts, and maintaining precise records to support site-wide inventory accuracy
  • Assist in the setup and organization of warehouse space, ensuring efficient workflow and safety compliance
  • Prepare and package parts and materials for shipment or distribution to various job sites, including remote locations
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery safely and effectively; certification is preferred
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with all safety regulations and company policies
  • Support full inventory cycle counts, ensuring accuracy across all parts and materials
  • Collaborate with logistics teams to coordinate deliveries, pickups, and inventory activities
  • Follow all health and safety regulations, actively participate in safety training and initiatives, and promote a safety-first culture
  • Work on-site in remote locations, supporting physically demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended 12-hour shifts
  • Support team rotations, with staffing starting around July 11th, and participate in rotating shifts every three weeks

Preferred Qualifications

Valid certification to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment is a plus
