Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical), Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience managing municipal water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects, including treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines, and tunnels
- At least 8 years of leadership experience encompassing client engagement, business development, strategic planning, project execution, and team supervision
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification candidates actively pursuing certification within 12 months will also be considered
- In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, technologies, equipment, labor relations, and union agreements
- Strong understanding of industry standards, corporate practices, and their implications on project execution
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills
- Proven ability to implement innovative management strategies to enhance team performance and project outcomes
- Demonstrated business acumen with a solid track record of managing project budgets and profitability (P&L responsibility)
Responsibilities
- Manage construction activities for industrial water/wastewater projects from start to finish
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies
- Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, contracts, and safety standards
- Oversee all project phases: procurement, bidding, construction, commissioning, and close-out
- Monitor schedules, budgets, and quality; manage change orders and contractor performance
- Supervise internal staff and consultants; provide leadership and direction
- Support business development and attend industry networking events
- Promote and enforce company safety policies across all project activities
