Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelorβs degree in financial planning, finance, or accounting
- Minimum 3.0 GPA and a solid track record of academic achievements
- Completion of intermediate finance and/or accounting course(s)
- General understanding of financial markets, economics, investment products and financial planning
- Strong analytical aptitude and ability to synthesize complex information
- Detailed oriented with sound organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and be self-directed
Responsibilities
- Work in financial planning software, eMoney, to build financial plans and craft recommendations
- Assist with client onboarding and account administration
- Research and present findings on assigned financial planning topics
- Prepare for and participate in client meetings
- Assist in the development of client communications
- Roll over previous year tax returns into tax planning software, Holistiplan, to prepare for tax planning season
- Prepare tax projections to illustrate tax planning opportunities for clients
- Assist with investment activities that may include trading, analyzing trends, and evaluating asset allocation
