Web Browser Researcher

Summary

You will be responsible for researching and developing methods to detect sophisticated bots through reverse engineering and anomaly detection. You will own the full research lifecycle, from ideation to production implementation. Fingerprint offers a competitive salary range of $160,000 - $190,000, and a collaborative, inclusive work environment.

Requirements

• Ability to conduct complex and effective research
• Strong understanding of web browsers and automation techniques
• Experience with TypeScript or JavaScript
• Hands-on experience with reverse engineering
• Solid understanding of internet security and privacy mechanisms
• High level of personal ownership and autonomy, with experience working in environments with undefined requirements
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)

Responsibilities

• Research and develop methods to detect sophisticated bots through reverse engineering and anomaly detection
• Create research tools to validate hypotheses and improve bot detection techniques
• Own the full research lifecycle—from ideation to implementation in production
