Summary
Join Chainguard's Marketing team as a Web Developer to lead the development and enhancement of our marketing website, chainguard.dev. You will be responsible for translating Figma designs into responsive websites, optimizing website performance, improving content publishing workflows, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role requires 4+ years of front-end development experience, expertise in modern web development practices, and proficiency in specific technologies like TypeScript, Next.js, and Contentful. The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge of SEO and experience with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics. Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in front-end development or web management roles
- Deep expertise in modern web development practices
- Strong coding proficiency for creating custom experiences, including implementing interactive features and dynamic content using JavaScript (e.g., interactive forms, etc.)
- Advanced experience with Contentful or similar CMS platforms
- Advanced knowledge of SEO principles and best practices
- Familiarity with our website codebase and tech stack: TypeScript, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, HTML, GraphQL, REST API, GraphQL API
- Proficiency in Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Google Analytics for configuring and troubleshooting tags and triggers and implementing analytics scripts
Responsibilities
- Develop Chainguard.dev: Lead the ongoing development and enhancement of our website to effectively represent our brand, products, and services. Turn Figma design files into responsive websites that support all browsers and devices
- Web Optimization: Manage, test, update, and refine our Contentful website to ensure optimal performance, usability, and alignment with marketing goals
- Content Publishing: Improve and scale content publishing workflows, empowering cross-functional teams to create and distribute engaging content while supporting self-service publishing
- Collaboration Across Teams: Partner with growth marketing, product marketing, design, and engineering to build and enhance website features and conversion flows
- Quality Assurance: Carry out web-related projects, including creating landing pages, implementing technical SEO enhancements, and resolving technical issues
- Future-Proofing the Website: Design scalable web strategies to ensure the site stays modern, adaptable, and aligned with evolving business needs
