Requirements

• Experience managing a team
• An all-star in web development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)
• Strong understanding of web standards, SEO principles, and accessibility best practices
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills
• Proficiency with the following platforms: WordPress, Shopify, WebFlow, and Figma

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor the web development team, aligning their work with the company’s strategic objectives
• Oversee the design, development, and upkeep of websites, ensuring they’re responsive, user-friendly, and optimized for performance
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership, marketing, and design teams to translate business goals into effective web strategies that drive revenue growth and support profit margins
• Set coding standards and ensure best practices are followed, maintaining the security, scalability, and reliability of web properties
• Keep the team up-to-date with the latest web technologies and trends, driving innovation within the department
• Regularly review website performance, making data-driven decisions to improve user experience, conversion rates, and overall revenue impact
• Manage the web development budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources, and monitor project costs to support profitability and maintain healthy profit margins
• Analyze the financial impact of web projects, ensuring that they contribute positively to the company’s revenue and profit goals
