Web Service Developer

Summary

Two Six Technologies is seeking a Mid-Level Web Service Developer with expertise in Java and JavaScript to join their development team. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web services and APIs using JavaScript/Java frameworks and cloud technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 4+ years of professional experience in JavaScript/Java development, with experience in modern reactive frameworks such as: VueJS, ReactJS, and similar
• Solid understanding of various cloud platforms and technologies, such as AWS and Azure
• Experience working with version control systems, such as Git
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Experience in both Linux and Windows environments

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement robust web applications
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable solutions using JavaScript/Java frameworks and cloud technologies
• Utilize cloud services for processing and integration, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the stability and security of developed solutions
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, incorporating best practices into development processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with serverless architectures and microservices
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or Git CI/CD
