Wordpress Frontend Developer

Summary

WRS Health is seeking a skilled Front End Developer with expertise in WordPress and ReactJS for a full-time remote position. The role involves collaborating with marketing to update the company's website, ensuring user experience and performance optimization, and working closely with other team members within a scrum framework.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Front End Developer
• Deep understanding of WordPress core functionalities, including the loop, hooks, filters, and WordPress APIs
• Proficient in WordPress development and customization
• Strong expertise in ReactJS and JavaScript frameworks
• Strong skills in front-end development, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with popular page builders like Elementor
• Knowledge of current SEO techniques and how to implement them within WordPress
• Familiarity with tools like Google PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, or Lighthouse for performance analysis and optimization
• Familiarity with git platforms like GitHub and GitLab
• Experience with JIRA for project management
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members at all levels
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality work

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate engaging content into the website using WordPress and ReactJS
• Ensure that the website design aligns with user experience requirements and is consistent with UX guidelines
• Optimize the website for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring efficient performance across all devices and browsers
• Work closely with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to ensure websites meet business goals and brand standards
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical recommendations for new projects
• Work within a multidisciplinary team, including back-end developers and web designers, to deliver cohesive and functional applications
• Validate all user input before submission to the back end, maintaining high standards of code quality
• Document processes, coding practices, and custom development work to ensure knowledge transfer within the team
• Provide training and support to non-technical staff on how to use WordPress effectively

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager configuration is a plus
