WordPress UI/UX Designer

Summary

You will be responsible for creating visually appealing and functional websites, designing websites aligned with Skydropx's visual identity, and customizing WordPress themes and plugins. Your tasks will include responsive design, performance and SEO optimization, content and structure management, and website maintenance and security. This role requires a completed degree in a relevant field, experience with responsive web design and mobile optimization, and knowledge of SEO best practices. The ideal candidate will also possess strong skills in WordPress customization, UX/UI design, and problem-solving.

Requirements

• Completed Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Computer Science, or a related field
• Experience with responsive web design and mobile optimization
• Knowledge of on-page SEO best practices and loading speed optimization
• Skills in customizing WordPress themes and plugins

Responsibilities

• Create visually attractive and functional websites
• Design websites aligned with Skydropx's visual identity
• Customize WordPress themes and templates to reflect the brand's essence
• Use visual builders like Elementor, Divi, or WPBakery for intuitive editing
• Design responsive websites to guarantee an optimal experience on mobile devices
• Customize themes and plugins
• Adapt existing themes according to Skydropx's identity and needs
• Develop or customize plugins for specific functionalities, such as logistics integrations
• Perform advanced editing of CSS, HTML, and PHP for custom adjustments that optimize the user experience
• Implement best practices to improve loading speed, such as caching, image compression, and code optimization
• Configure on-page SEO with tools like Rank Math to improve Skydropx's visibility
• Improve the user experience to increase retention and conversion
• Configure pages, blog posts, and intuitive navigation
• Integrate key tools such as contact forms and CRM
• Optimize the site structure to improve indexing in search engines
• Regularly update WordPress, themes, and plugins to maintain the stability of Skydropx's website
• Implement security measures such as firewalls, automatic backups, and malware protection
• Quickly resolve technical problems and provide continuous support to ensure uninterrupted operation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with eCommerce or Startups
• Experience with digital products in different countries
• Advanced Portuguese
