Summary

Join Upstream Rehabilitation as a Work Comp Operations Support Specialist! This remote, full-time position supports enterprise-wide workers' compensation and industrial services. You will collaborate with internal and external contacts to ensure compliance and proper billing. This role demands strong data analysis skills and efficient reporting to inform Work Comp and Industrial service decisions. You will play a vital role in supporting clinical and operational excellence, impacting injured workers' lives. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Competent in data analysis
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Attention to detail, organization, customer service, adaptable to change, time management
  • Solid understanding of WC and Industrial Services and general billing principles

Responsibilities

  • Review all invoiced service tickets weekly
  • Verify rates and contractual amounts
  • Contact payers to ensure rates are accurate
  • Bill out onsite services at the end of each month
  • Manage scheduling employment tests for national clients
  • Manage the WC Department page on Upstream’s intranet
  • Pull reports and modify using Excel to send weekly reporting
  • Create internal education materials, including: Work Comp and Industrial Services billing
  • Work Comp contractual obligations
  • Audit charts related to: Contractual requirements (quality, access, documentation sent)
  • Correct payor
  • Assist setting up clinicians for FCE training and FCE training assignment approval
  • Manage FCE license renewal process
  • Assist with fulfilling requests for documentation from payors

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare industry background
  • Experience with HIPAA
  • Understanding of work comp and/or industrial/employer services
