Summary
Join our team as a Workday Testing Coordinator to lead and manage testing activities across Workday HCM, Financials, and Supply Chain Management modules. This 8-month contract position is mostly remote and crucial for ensuring the successful implementation, upgrade, and optimization of Workday. You will coordinate end-to-end testing efforts, manage test plans, and guarantee quality assurance across functional areas. The role involves developing and managing comprehensive test plans and scripts, overseeing all phases of testing, and collaborating with various teams to define test scenarios and acceptance criteria. You will also facilitate test execution, track defects, maintain a centralized repository of test data, and ensure alignment with project timelines and compliance requirements. Finally, you will support change management and training teams and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage comprehensive test plans, test scripts, and test schedules for Workday HCM, FIN, and SCM modules
- Coordinate and oversee all phases of testing including unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and regression testing
- Collaborate with functional leads, business analysts, and technical teams to define test scenarios and acceptance criteria
- Facilitate test execution by assigning tasks, tracking progress, and ensuring timely completion of testing cycles
- Identify, document, and track defects; work with developers and functional teams to ensure timely resolution
- Maintain a centralized repository of test cases, results, and documentation
- Ensure testing aligns with project timelines, compliance requirements, and business objectives
- Support change management and training teams by validating test outcomes and ensuring readiness for go-live
- Provide regular status updates and testing metrics to project stakeholders
