Summary
Join Mediafly as an Account Director and accelerate revenue growth by engaging with top-tier brands across the UK and Europe. This role focuses on identifying and closing new business opportunities while expanding existing relationships. You will navigate complex buying processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage the entire sales cycle. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated sales professional with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and closing high-value deals. You will leverage your expertise in SaaS sales, outbound prospecting, and consultative selling to deliver value-based solutions. This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience in SaaS sales with a strong emphasis on new business acquisition, outbound prospecting, and breaking into new markets or verticals across the UK and European regions
- Possess a proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets by securing net new logos and successfully closing high-value deals, ideally £200,000 / €250,000+ in contract value
- Apply structured sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger, or similar) to manage and close complex new business opportunities
- Are skilled at multithreading enterprise deals, building relationships across multiple departments, seniority levels, and geographies within large organisations
- Have experience selling with and through strategic partners, such as SAP, to maximise market reach and deal success
- Bring a consultative, value-led sales approach with the ability to translate customer challenges into tailored, impactful solutions
- Are a confident and persuasive communicator — able to convey ideas clearly across written, verbal, and visual channels
- Demonstrate strong commercial instincts and the ability to align customer needs with business objectives while protecting deal profitability
- Quickly build product knowledge, earning trust and credibility with prospects through expertise and strategic insight
- Operate in a highly organised, data-driven manner and are comfortable leveraging tools like Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and sales engagement platforms to manage pipeline and drive results
- Thrive in fast-paced, high-autonomy environments where you proactively create your own pipeline and consistently drive new opportunities
- Embrace continuous learning, feedback, and iteration to constantly improve your sales effectiveness and outcomes
Responsibilities
- Drive new business growth by proactively identifying, targeting, and closing new logo opportunities within Mediafly’s ideal customer profile across the UK and European markets
- Strategically prospect and build pipeline through outbound activity, market research, and tailored outreach, with a focus on engaging high-value accounts
- Navigate complex buying processes, including multi-stakeholder and multi-country decision-making groups, building relationships with both executive and operational contacts to create momentum and drive urgency
- Own and manage the entire sales cycle — from initial discovery, solution scoping, proposal development, pricing, through to commercial negotiation and contract close
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Pre-Sales, Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Product teams to tailor solutions and positioning to suit the specific needs of prospective customers across diverse European markets
- Maintain a strong focus on pipeline development, outbound activity levels, and accurate forecasting using platforms such as Salesforce and DealDesk
- Act as a trusted advisor on Mediafly’s full product portfolio, delivering value-led recommendations that directly align with prospect needs and business priorities
- Work closely with the Customer Success team to ensure smooth handover and successful onboarding of new clients, while identifying early opportunities for cross-sell and account growth
- Provide regular feedback and insights from the field to help shape go-to-market strategy, refine sales messaging, and influence product development
- Represent Mediafly at relevant industry events, conferences, and via professional platforms to strengthen brand awareness and support pipeline generation across the UK and Europe
