Account Executive

Summary

Join Alt, a company revolutionizing the $5B trading-card market, as a seasoned Account Executive. You will be responsible for closing deals, hunting for new high-value clients, building strong relationships, shaping the product based on customer feedback, and building efficient sales processes. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of full-cycle sales experience in a fast-paced environment, a proven track record of exceeding quotas, and a passion for sports. Requirements

• 3–5 years of full-cycle sales experience, ideally in a fast-paced or startup environment
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding quota and managing pipeline in Salesforce or a similar CRM
• Strong communication skills both with customers and cross-functional teams
• A “get sh*t done” mentality with zero fear of cold outreach, discovery calls, or objection handling
• Love, passion, and borderline obsession with sports and a competitive mindset that drives you to win

Responsibilities

• Close deals. Quick, weekly sales cycles that feed into bi-weekly auction cycles and a monthly quota carry
• Hunt. Your edge will be your ability to prospect and bring in new, high-value sellers and buyers in creative ways, leveraging Alt’s data and outside channels. This is a land grab, and we want someone hungry
• Build trust. This is a tight-knit industry. Relationships matter. You’ll become a go-to name in the space by being helpful, authentic, and relentlessly customer focused
• Shape our product. Know what your customers need? Good. You’re our boots on the ground and you’ll be a vital feedback loop to product and engineering
• Build processes, not just pipelines. Daily discipline around outreach, qualification, disqualification, and follow-up. You are polished in a pipeline review and know your numbers inside out and backward

Preferred Qualifications

• Are obsessed with sports. You know who just got called up from Triple-A, who’s about to get benched, and which second-rounder is about to pop. Maybe you played. Maybe you just get it . Either way, you live and breathe the game. Every game, every sport
• Are a builder. We’re not just scaling a business, we’re inventing a category. You want to help create the next eBay, not punch the clock there
• Are curious about trading cards. Maybe you haven’t touched one since middle school. That’s fine. If you think in stats and storylines, we’ll teach you everything else you need to know
