Summary

The Mid-Market Account Executive is responsible for managing and growing mid-market accounts at CloudTrucks, generating new sales opportunities, conducting customer discovery, closing deals, collaborating with the team, and managing individual sales funnels. They need to have 5+ years of sales experience in the Transportation Brokerage Industry, strong communication skills, a positive attitude, ability to challenge customers, RFP or contract experience, and an ability to travel for client meetings (less than 20%). Requirements

  • 5+ year sales experience in the Transportation Brokerage Industry
  • Strong communicator
  • Engaging and compelling presentation skills
  • Positive and open-minded attitude
  • Ability to operate within the gray and find creative or out-of-the-box solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to challenge the way customers think about their business
  • RFP or contract experience
  • Ability to travel for client meetings and engagements (less than 20%)
  • Values a diverse and inclusive work environment
  • Growth mindset, with a focus on customers

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow mid-market accounts
  • Generate new sales opportunities
  • Conduct customer discovery
  • Close deals on the phone, in Google Meet, or in person
  • Collaborate internally with the team
  • Manage individual sales funnel information
  • Sell CT Exchanges’ core suite of fright services
  • Review weekly/monthly sales activities and prospective customers with Management
  • Engage in self-development & training opportunities
