Summary
Join PlaytestCloud's vibrant sales team as an Account Executive and contribute to the company's continued success. This vital role focuses on cultivating new business opportunities and expanding our client base of mid-market customers globally. You will collaborate with various teams, including Customer Success, Research Operations, and Marketing. Key responsibilities include generating net new recurring revenue, identifying and engaging prospects, creating a robust sales pipeline, and managing sales cycles. The ideal candidate possesses 3-5 years of quota-carrying sales experience in B2B SaaS, mobile tech, or mobile gaming, a proven track record of closing deals, and strong communication skills. Requirements
- ��� 3-5 years of experience in a quota carrying sales role with a focus on closing net new logos. Preferably in the B2B SaaS, mobile tech, or mobile gaming sectors
- ���You’re a hunter by nature and proactively open new accounts and run complex sales cycles
- ��� Track record of closing 10k - 50k ARR deals in a competitive environment
- ��� You are self-motivated and driven by result with a proven record of overachievement and hitting sales targets
- ��� Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building champions via phone, email and video conferencing
- ��� Experience with CRM software (we use Pipedrive) and ideally sales automation tools
- ��� You have (near) native spoken and written English skills. German is not required for the role, any additional languages are a plus
- ��� Comfortable operating in a fast paced environment and resourceful in the face of ambiguity
- ��� You are a proactive team player who is always thinking on how to improve your work
- ��� Naturally curious, continuously learning and regular self reflection on opportunities to grow
- ��� Ideally you are based in Berlin or at least located within ±2 hours of the Europe/Berlin time zone (CET)
Responsibilities
- ���� Net New MRR: You’re responsible for bringing in net new, recurring revenue from our mid market customers globally
- ���� Identify and Engage Prospects: Leverage cold calls, emails, and social media outreach to discover and engage potential clients across multiple channels
- ���� Generate Pipeline: Consistently create a robust pipeline through meticulous account research, strategic planning, and proactive outreach within your assigned territory
- ���� Needs Discovery: Work with our customers to translate their research needs into solution requirements through detailed discovery and create targeted value propositions
- ���� Value Creation: Create targeted value propositions differentiating PlaytestCloud from our competition based on prospect needs
- ���� Manage Sales Cycles: Guide prospects through their evaluation process, influence decision criteria and support building business cases that trigger action in multi-stakeholder decision processes
- ���� Maintain Engagement: Keep active communication with both new and existing leads to ensure ongoing engagement and relationship building
- ���� Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the Head of Sales to develop and implement territory strategy to achieve growth targets
- ���� Contribute to Team Growth: Participate actively in team learning opportunities and commit to your own personal and professional development
Preferred Qualifications
- ���� Experience with usability testing or user research
- ���� Passion for video games and familiarity with the gaming industry
- ���� Experience in the ad tech or game tech sector
