Summary
Join Teachable's dynamic team as a Founding Account Executive and be a driving force in sales within the digital creator space. You will focus on converting inbound leads into paying customers, upselling existing clients, and driving adoption of the Teachable platform. Requirements
- 2+ years of sales experience
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets, with the ability to develop and learn through experimentation
- A genuine passion for the digital ecosystem and familiarity with top-tier influencers
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- Ability to analyze performance metrics, communicate learnings, and make evidence-based recommendations
- Ability to think critically and execute tasks accurately and efficiently
- Highly detailed, organized, and planning-oriented, with exceptional follow-through, initiative, and time management skills
- Ability to be independent, self-motivated, and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Responsibilities
- Convert inbound leads into paying customers by effectively qualifying prospects, understanding their needs, and guiding them toward the right Teachable planโdriving high conversion rates with a performance-based compensation structure
- Leverage Teachableโs extensive data and large pool of successful creators to identify those who should be on custom contracts or upgraded plans
- Engage with up-and-coming creators and selling seats to work with our Customer Success team
- Understand our product and offerings in such that providing the best solutions for schools comes easy and with high conversion rates
- Keep open and effective communication with partners, proactively finding timely solutions to resolve any issues or challenges
- Manage all key reporting metrics meticulously, providing valuable insights to drive decision-making and strategy

- Base salaries will be reviewed at regular intervals throughout the year, typically following performance review cycles currently conducted annually or in conjunction with a promotion
- For this role, the cash compensation package potential is $75,000 - $130,000, inclusive of a performance bonus that will be tied to set targets
- Total compensation also includes a competitive benefits package
