Summary

Join Xplor Recreation as a dynamic Account Executive and drive sales growth within your designated territory. You will build and maintain strong client relationships, develop strategic sales plans, and represent the Xplor brand. This role involves new account acquisition, focusing on mid-market and enterprise agencies in the Parks and Recreation industry. You will leverage your sales expertise and product knowledge to achieve revenue targets. The position offers a base salary of $80,000-$100,000 annually, plus commission, and the flexibility to work from home.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven success in sales, preferably in software or technology
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and prospects
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a passion for driving growth and achieving targets
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to travel within the designated territory as required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and online collaboration tools

Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with clients and prospects. Understand their needs, challenges, and goals to provide tailored solutions that drive value
  • Create and maintain a robust sales pipeline by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities. Consistently update and manage CRM records to ensure accurate forecasting
  • Act as the CEO of your own territory. Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities
  • Conduct discovery calls with prospects to understand their pain points and requirements. Effectively communicate how Xplor Recreation software can address their needs and enhance their operations
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of Xplor Recreation software. Tailor presentations to the specific needs and interests of each prospect
  • Represent the Xplor Recreation brand with professionalism and integrity in all interactions with clients and prospects. Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote our solutions
  • Meet with clients and prospects in person to build relationships, present solutions, and close deals. Travel within your territory as needed to achieve sales objectives
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer success, and product development, to ensure a seamless customer experience and continuous improvement of our offerings

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with MEDDIC framework is recommended
  • Experience with Salesforce and HubSpot software is an asset
  • Experience in Parks and Recreation industry is an asset
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred
