Summary

Zerion is seeking an Account Executive to drive sales and strategic partnerships, focusing on building relationships with major players in the crypto space, closing large deals, and managing pipeline of chain and infrastructure integrations. The role requires extensive network within the crypto space, in-depth understanding of blockchain applications stack, 3+ years in account management, business development, or sales roles, and strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Requirements

  • An extensive network within the crypto space, with a proven track record of closing high-impact/value deals
  • In-depth understanding of blockchain applications stack including L1/L2/L3 networks, DeFi, wallets, and SocialFi
  • 3+ years in account management, business development, or sales roles, with at least 3 years in the crypto industry
  • Experience in a startup environment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced and volatile crypto environment
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with an ability to build and nurture relationships across a variety of stakeholders
  • A resourceful, optimistic, and 'get-stuff-done' attitude, thriving in dynamic environments

Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify new sales leads within the crypto and blockchain community, converting these leads into long-term clients
  • Close high-value sales deals and partnerships, driving adoption of Zerion API
  • Manage the pipeline of chain and infrastructure integrations for Zerion
  • Conduct outbound research, identifying key potential partners and bootstrapping relationships with targeted companies
  • Contribute to the expansion of Zerion’s network, expand relationships with key existing partners
  • Strategize with cross-functional teams, providing market insights that influence product development, growth initiatives, and user accessibility
  • Cultivate strong relationships with founders, creators and builders in the onchain world
  • Appropriately manage a budget to support business development activities

Preferred Qualifications

  • A strong network in the crypto/Web3 space and familiarity with the whole onchain landscape
  • Demonstrated success in developing partnerships and closing deals with major players in the industry such as Uniswap, Aave, Binance, etc
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with resourcefulness and adaptability to a fast-moving environment
  • The ability to thrive while managing multiple tasks and forging strategic relationships
  • Experience in launching your own startup/side project in crypto
