Summary

Join insightsoftware as a sales professional responsible for generating new business by selling the Vizlib solution to leaders in Data & Analytics, Business Intelligence, Digital Transformation, Supply Chain, and IT at public companies. You will manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals, and maintain strong client relationships. This remote-first position requires a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and contributing expertise to the sales team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent communication and negotiation skills. You will report to the Divisional Vice President and travel up to 25% of the time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in business, sales, marketing or a related field
  • 2+ years of software sales experience to public companies
  • Experience selling or STRONG familiarity with at least ONE of the following: Business Intelligence & Visual Analytics, Sales & Operational Planning, Enterprise Performance Management, or Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, - able to clearly and concisely articulate thought
  • Demonstrated strength in negotiation, financial and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated strength in appointment setting to create a pipeline of opportunities
  • Proven history of securing new accounts, as well as growing sales across various other channels
  • Exhibits an overall polished, professional image
  • Ability to work independently is a must

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong contacts, and networks both within and outside of the Company
  • Manage entire sales cycle from identification through to close, including: discovery, presentations, demos, contract negotiations and transition to other departments for future servicing as a software client
  • Understand and articulately communicate feedback on market condition, new opportunities, product penetration strategies and successes
  • Oversee, maintain and update sales forecast and CRM system
  • Be available to travel up to 25% of the time
