Summary

Join Solution Tree as a Director of Educational Partnerships and contribute to transforming education worldwide. This outside sales position, based in Arkansas, focuses on achieving quarterly and annual revenue goals by selling print and online resources, educator events, and professional development services. You will develop and execute a territory sales plan, manage expenses responsibly, and build strong relationships with key decision-makers in K-12 education. The role demands excellent communication, solution selling skills, and proficiency in Salesforce.com and other technologies. Extensive travel (at least 50%) is required, including overnight trips. This is a full-time position with a competitive compensation package and benefits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum five years of successful sales experience
  • Travel at least 50% of the time (including overnights)
  • Must reside in Arkansas

Responsibilities

  • Achieve quarterly and annual contracted revenue sales goals
  • Manage expenses in compliance with company guidelines, demonstrating fiscal responsibility and sound judgment
  • Possess comprehensive product and market knowledge
  • Present unique product offerings and comprehensive solutions to individuals and groups
  • Leverage competitive knowledge to inform sales strategy
  • Observe market trends and communicate them to customers and colleagues
  • Employ solution selling techniques
  • Engage in account targeting and territory planning
  • Develop and nurture customer relationships with key decision-makers (Superintendents, district administrators, school Principals)
  • Share timely information with sales management and internal partners
  • Conduct successful business meetings with decision-makers in person, by phone, and via video conferencing
  • Demonstrate technological proficiency with Salesforce.com, Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Collaborate effectively with others

Preferred Qualifications

K-12 education sales experience preferred
