Summary

Join SecurityScorecard's top-performing sales team as a seasoned sales executive to drive growth within our emerging SLED practice. You will prospect and engage with senior decision-makers in Information Security & Risk teams within large enterprise organizations, focusing on state and local government, K12, and Higher Education. This role involves both phone/web and frequent face-to-face value selling, with approximately 30-40% travel. You will be based locally within your assigned region (East Coast). This is an opportunity to join a growing team and help expand our business and customer footprint. The estimated total compensation range is $280,000 - $300,000 (base plus bonus, with potential accelerators beyond OTE).

Requirements

  • Have 10+ years of experience in enterprise software sales with a focus on hunter roles and new customer acquisition & pipeline growth
  • Have 5+ years of experience working in the cyber security sales space
  • Have an outstanding track record of success managing enterprise accounts and opportunities to closure, consistent over-attainment of quotas >$1M annual recurring revenue
  • Have a strong network of established relationships with key industry contacts within state and local government, K-12 and Higher Education and Healthcare sectors
  • Have achieved President’s Club and or quota attainment in last three years
  • Have experience closing six to seven figure ARR deals

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and engage with senior decision makers in Information Security & Risk teams within large enterprise organizations
  • Call on accounts at senior levels
  • Have excellent personal relationships in Security & Risk functions
  • Engage collaboratively with our prospects and customers to present the value of the SecurityScorecard solution
  • Perform both phone/web and frequent face to face value selling
  • Travel approximately 30-40%
  • Be based locally within your assigned region when not onsite at a customer

Preferred Qualifications

  • Be extremely organized, effective oral & written communicator
  • Be a self starter, able to work effectively with a distributed team
  • Have SaaS experience
  • Demonstrate technical aptitude in cybersecurity
  • Have previous success in early stage company growing a territory and exceeding sales goals
