Summary
Join Betterment, a leading financial services company, as a Partner Account Executive specializing in health insurance brokers. This role focuses on building strategic partnerships, generating qualified leads, and co-selling deals to achieve booking targets. You will be responsible for the full partner sales cycle, managing pipeline in Salesforce, and mastering Betterment's product offerings. This remote-eligible position requires travel for industry events and meetings, and offers a competitive compensation package including base salary, commission, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
Requirements
- 5+ years of partner sales experience, particularly in B2B SaaS and health insurance broker adjacent industries, i.e., payroll/HCM, retirement services, general agencies, etc.)
- Proven track record of exceeding bookings targets (top 10% of sales orgs)
- Previous experience managing, activating, and co-selling with health insurance partners required
- SPICED or similar sales framework experience required
Responsibilities
- Activate new and assigned health insurance brokers to drive meaningful sales outcomes
- Develop strong, trusting relationships with partners across all customer-facing role levels to maximize lead flow
- Own the full partner sales cycle from lead generation to prospecting to close stages as strategic seller
- Manage pipeline in Salesforce to ensure forecast accuracy on both monthly and quarterly basis
- Master Betterment product offering and understand our marketplace trends and competitor landscape to deliver tailored sales presentations
- Close business to meet and exceed bookings targets
- Leverage Bettermentβs sales tech stack to create process efficiencies
- Travel (25%) required for industry, vertical, and partner-related events and meetings
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Betterment sales tech stack a plus, i.e., Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Sendoso, Gong, ChatGPT, etc
- Rolodex of health insurance partners and contacts preferred
- Curiosity and interest in financial products and retirement planning with retirement industry experience a plus
- Desire to build a new business vertical, iterating on processes and collaborating with direct and cross-functional teams
- Ability to thrive in fast paced environment
- High energy and self-motivated with strong verbal and written communication skills
