Summary
Join our growing commercial lines insurance brokerage as a skilled and motivated Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager! Focus on serving community associations in the Chicago area, providing exceptional service and tailored coverage. This role requires an active Property & Casualty license (or the ability to obtain one within three months). Remote work options are available. Requirements
- Have an active Property & Casualty license (or ability to obtain within 3 months)
- Possess a strong understanding of insurance products, risk management, and the unique needs of community associations
- Demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Be able to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
- Be detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and have experience with insurance agency management systems
Responsibilities
- Manage and support a book of business focused on community association clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met with exceptional service
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with current clients, identifying opportunities to improve coverage and retention
- Provide expert guidance to clients on insurance policies, coverage options, and risk management strategies
- Collaborate with producers and underwriters to design customized insurance solutions for community associations
- Prepare and deliver proposals, certificates of insurance, and policy renewals
- Handle client inquiries, policy changes, and claims in a timely and professional manner
- Assist clients in navigating the insurance process and understanding their policy details
- Maintain accurate client records in the agency management system
- Stay up to date with changes in insurance regulations and community association trends
- Work to continuously improve client satisfaction and retention through proactive communication and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Have previous experience in commercial insurance and working with community associations
- Have experience working specifically with community associations or condominium associations
- Possess bilingual skills (Spanish, a plus)
- Have prior experience working remotely in an insurance or client-facing role
