Summary
Join PIPECARE Group as an Account Manager in the oil and gas industry, based in Calgary, Canada (with remote work flexibility within Canada). You will lead sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, build and maintain key client relationships, and contribute to the organization's success. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, along with proven experience in sales and the oil and gas sector. You will develop and implement sales plans, analyze market data, and negotiate contracts. Collaboration with internal teams is crucial for seamless execution of sales initiatives. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred) and at least 5 years of relevant sales experience, including 3 years in a leadership role within the oil and gas industry.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the oil and gas industry
- In-depth knowledge of oil and gas products, services, and market dynamics
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to travel as needed
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity in the oil and gas industry

- Continuously manages administrative functions to ensure quality and timeliness, manages accurate and timely sales activity and performance reports, analyses report data to project trends and build forecasts
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells
- Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, or other communication capabilities, to communicate effectively
- Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively
- Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection, if/where needed in manufacturing environments
- Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform office duties and travel to off-site locations when necessary
Responsibilities

- Identify training requirements
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth within the oil and gas sector
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring satisfaction with our products and services
- Act as a primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and proactively offering solutions
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities and potential risks
- Analyze market data to develop and refine sales strategies, ensuring a competitive edge in the oil and gas sector
- Develop and execute sales plans, including forecasting, budgeting, and monitoring performance against targets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and operations, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives
- Lead negotiations with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that align with organizational goals
- Oversee contract management processes to ensure compliance and mitigate risks
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective communication and coordination, particularly with the technical and operations teams to align sales efforts with delivery capabilities
