Summary

Join Macnica Americas, Inc. as an Account Manager-Automotive, supporting Tier 1 and Tier 2 automotive clients. You will manage key customer programs and semiconductor supply chains, strengthening supplier and client relationships. Domestic and international travel is required, primarily across the Midwest, Eastern U.S., and Mexico. Requirements

  • Experience : 3–5+ years in the semiconductor industry, with a strong focus on automotive Tier 1/Tier 2 accounts
  • Industry Knowledge : Deep understanding of distributor roles, the dynamics of the semiconductor and automotive sectors, and supply chain processes
  • Risk Management : Proficient in identifying and managing business risks, in line with QCDD standards
  • Technical Proficiency : Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and data management tools
  • Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to engage global teams and cross-functional partners
  • Travel : Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (ie/ mid-west, eastern region and Mexico) as needed (Japan time zone collaboration included)

Responsibilities

  • Drive Early-Stage Demand: Engage with Tier 1 and OEM customers during the product development phase to influence specifications and secure future business
  • Align Solutions with Market Trends: Promote innovative technical products and new introductions that match customer roadmaps and emerging industry trends
  • Secure Design Wins: Proactively identify and capture design-in opportunities to ensure sustained revenue growth
  • Maximize Account Growth: Assess customer needs to uncover upsell potential, positioning additional products or upgrades to expand revenue within existing accounts
  • Execute Strategic Upselling: Collaborate with sales teams to develop targeted strategies, present customized proposals, and achieve incremental revenue targets
  • Primary Client Liaison: Serve as the main contact for key accounts, ensuring complete understanding and fulfillment of client requirements
  • Strategic Negotiations: Lead pricing, volume forecasting, and contract discussions while securing annual cost reductions to maximize profitability
  • End-to-End Project Leadership: Oversee customer projects from initial evaluation through development, validation, and full-scale production
  • Milestone Management: Develop and track project milestones, deliverables, and timelines
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate cross-functional alignment with engineering, product development, and supply chain teams
  • Quality Assurance: Partner with product development, engineering, and operations teams to ensure product quality and alignment with client requirements
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate between clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution and delivery of projects
