Summary

Join EPLAN Software & Services LLC as an Account Manager in the Northeast region, selling EPLAN software and services. You will manage existing clients while developing new business, collaborating with the national consulting team to provide tailored solutions. Success hinges on a customer-first approach and solution-driven methodology. Responsibilities include analyzing customer needs, identifying new prospects, developing sales plans, and presenting at marketing events. You will be resourceful, customer-oriented, and driven to achieve measurable results. This is an outside sales position requiring significant travel within the Northeast region.

Requirements

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a degree in Business Administration/Marketing along with relevant experience
  • Be located in the Northeast Region of the United States
  • Be authorized to work without sponsorship for any employer
  • Have 5 years of experience selling Enterprise SaaS platforms
  • Have strong knowledge of CAE/CAD marketplace and engineering applications
  • Have strong interpersonal skills and are going to show your proven ability to develop and build strong relationships with c-level and senior management of clients
  • Be highly proficient in their computer skills including internet, CRM, email, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and have a complete understanding of consultative and solution selling strategies

Responsibilities

  • Analyze customer facilities and requirements to help drive their business needs through the EPLAN platform
  • Identify new EPLAN prospects and industries and are willing to cover all components of the sales process
  • Prospecting, cold calling, negotiating complex requirements and maintaining high customer satisfaction (NPS)
  • Develop sales plans and respond to proposals for specific customer requirements and help provide industry specific solutions with our engineers
  • Participate in global initiatives to introduce products in new markets, including educating the customer on resources available and elevating our brand
  • Present at local sales marketing events while actively upselling and highlighting solutions to new, current and old customers

Preferred Qualifications

Have experience in the industrial automation industry
