Summary

Join Veeva Systems, a leading life sciences industry cloud company, as an entrepreneurial Account Partner for Commercial Vault Basics. You will be responsible for achieving sales goals, generating new business with emerging biotech companies, and managing executive-level relationships. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of work experience (including 3+ years in sales and 1+ year in software sales), and proven success in selling complex solutions. You will work directly with C-level executives and be a foundational member of the sales organization. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years of work experience
  • Including 3+ years of Sales experience; 1+ years of software sales experience
  • Experience selling complex, out-of-the-box solutions
  • Experience independently managing and driving a full sales cycle
  • Ability to sell directly to C-Level executives
  • Strong track record of hitting or exceeding sales quotas
  • We require candidates to be based in the general vicinity of the location posting

Responsibilities

  • Achieve team quarterly and annual sales goals
  • Execute fast sales cycles working directly with C-level Executives at emerging biotechs
  • Become knowledgeable on the Commercial Vault Basics product suite
  • Responsible for running demos and fielding questions
  • Keep current with industry trends and engage customers in addressing their business challenges
  • Act with urgency, integrity, and a relentless focus on customer success
  • You’ll be a foundational member of the Commercial Vault Basics sales organization and help make the product recognized as the go-to solution for emerging biotechs

Preferred Qualifications

  • A history of working with SMB or emerging biotech
  • Experience working for a Life Sciences company or Consulting a Life Sciences company
  • Strong computer skills and experience with Gmail, Excel, PPT, CRM, Sigma, or other reporting and analytics software
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and experience
  • Familiarity with Veeva’s Commercial software and data products
  • Experience prospecting as a SDR, BDR, Associate Account Partner, or Account Partner
