Requirements
- 10 years experience delivering cloud-based solutions to customers in a professional services / consulting environment, from hands-on technical delivery to high level relationship management
- 5 years experience working in large enterprise technology organizations, navigating the organization to deliver business value through technical solutions
- Demonstrated experience leading teams of engineers, architects, and project managers
- Demonstrated ability to be responsible for a divisional/team P&L and grow accounts by building trust and delivering quality outcomes
- Ability to take very technical concepts, explain them to non-technical business leaders, and help them understand the value of cloud solutions
- Up to 30% travel
Responsibilities
- Successfully deliver services
- Grow revenue under contract
- Manage gross margin
- Assemble an exceptional team of architects, engineers, and project managers to deliver on projects and work with them to develop their careers
- Ensure that existing work is completed successfully and use that success to grow additional relationships and additional contracts
- Build trust with clients
- Speak to solutions and solution impact
- Drive conversations on value proposition and develop proposals, with technical support provided by architects in the account
- Develop a strategy for account growth and regularly report progress against that strategy
- Manage Sales Pipeline in Salesforce
- Negotiate and close deals; develop SOW, negotiate contract terms and pricing
- Manage accurate records of activities and interactions and prepare regular reports and forecasts for management
- Perform other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelorβs Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
- 5 years experience working in sales engineering / technical sales for an AWS technology or consulting partner
- At least an AWS Associate level certification (Professional and Specialty certs preferred)
- Ability to speak confidently with Trek10 prospects and clients across some of the following areas: AWS serverless architectures (Lambda, Fargate, DynamoDB, S3, etc.)
- Infrastructure as code and DevOps best practices (CloudFormation, Terraform, Serverless Application Model, CI/CD pipelines, etc.)
- Methodologies and best practices to replatform and re-architect applications for cloud native services (i.e., methodologies and best practices to refactor monoliths to microservices)
- Enterprise workloads / networks (both on-premise and cloud-based), as well as migration to AWS
- Event Driven Systems and API design (AppSync, EventBridge, etc)
- AWS operations and use of Datadog
- Containers and container orchestration (Docker, ECS, EKS, etc)
- Real-time data streaming and analytics (Kinesis, Firehose, KDA, Glue, Athena)
- IT security and various compliance programs
- Experience with the Salesforce platform
