Summary

Join our team as a primary point of contact for customer billing and payment issues. You will ensure efficient collections processes by monitoring credit limits and collecting all monies due to minimize bad debt. Manage the collection of customer accounts from an assigned portfolio, initiating problem resolution through research and reconciliation. Manage bad debt by working through issues with customers and handle internal and external communications. This role requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable or payable. Problem-solving skills and knowledge of accounting systems are essential.

Requirements

  • Possess basic working knowledge of accounting systems
  • Perform Data Analysis
  • Possess Financial Modeling Skills
  • High School Diploma or regional equivalent required
  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in field related to role
  • 1-2 years of work experience in an Account Receivable or Accounts Payable role required

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer billing and payment issues on assigned portfolios
  • Ensure the collections process is working efficiently by monitoring credit limits for customers and collecting all monies due in order to minimize the risk of bad debt
  • Manage the collection of customer accounts from an assigned portfolio
  • Initiate problem resolution by using various research and reconciliation techniques, including account reconciliations
  • Manage bad debt in a portfolio environment by working through issues with assigned customers
  • Handle and document internal and external communications, via phone, ticket or email as outlined in department processes
  • Works on problems of moderate scope
  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
