Accounts Receivables Specialist

Summary

Join Saltbox, a logistics company supporting e-commerce businesses, as their Accounts Receivables Specialist! This role involves managing member accounts, including onboarding, offboarding, and adjustments, as well as member billing and resolving billing-related issues. You will process payments, prepare reports, monitor accounts for irregularities, maintain electronic files, and assist with month-end closing. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable and 1+ year in customer service, along with experience using workspace management systems (OfficeRnD preferred). Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills are essential. This is a remote position with a salary range of $7500-$8000 annually.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in account receivable and other billing-related tasks
• 1+ years of experience in a customer service oriented role
• Experience with workspace management systems, preferable OfficeRnD
• Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• High technical competence in Excel and/or Google Sheets
• Understanding of consumer behaviors and industry trends

Responsibilities

• Process payments for 1,500 plus unit portfolio
• Prepare receivable collection report
• Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities
• Maintain electronic accounts receivable customer files and records
• Follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash, etc
• Prepare bank deposits
• Process adjustments, tenant move-ins and deposit refunds
• Assist with month-end closing
• Maintain up-to-date billing system
• Special projects and reporting as needed
