Summary

Requirements

  • Experience: 1+ years of professional experience; knowledge of billing, collections, and accounts receivable preferred
  • Accounting: understanding of order-to-cash processes, aging reports, and foreign exchange rates
  • Attention to Detail: avoiding errors and consistently delivering polished work
  • Customer Service: experience in a customer-facing role where a high level of service was required to navigate customer needs and requests
  • Communication: proven ability to clearly and concisely communicate with various stakeholders in a professional environment
  • Excel: working knowledge of pivot tables, vlookup, and generating reports and graphs

Responsibilities

  • Invoicing: accurately and efficiently prepare invoices in compliance with client guidelines to facilitate prompt payment
  • Collections: proactively monitor delinquent accounts and contact customers to discuss overdue balances
  • Customer Outreach: communicate with customers to resolve any billing or payment inquiries or issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Internal Coordination : collaborate with Customer Success Managers to resolve billing issues related to invoices and delinquent accounts
  • Inbox Management : maintain an organized inbox and respond to customer inquiries with a sense of ownership and urgency
  • Data Integrity: maintain up-to-date customer information records and billing contacts

Preferred Qualifications

Software: experience with or interest in learning common accounting and billing software platforms (e.g., NetSuite, Intacct, or BillingPlatform) a plus
