Requirements

  • 5-6+ years of agency experience
  • Training in communications, media or PR
  • Experience in healthcare and FDA regulatory communications
  • Experience with external meetings and events representing the agency and client (medical conferences, third party events, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations or Journalism
  • A high level of initiative and leadership
  • Solution-oriented problem-solving approach to challenges
  • Solid work ethic with ability to work well in a team environment
  • Excellent grammar and writing skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Superior organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and priorities
  • Attention to detail and dedication to quality
  • Appreciation and understanding of the boutique-agency, hybrid model of Green Room PR, including superior client service 24/7 during and outside of regular office hours, as needed
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

Responsibilities

  • Develop first drafts of PR plans and program materials with guidance from Green Room partners and PR Managers, including key messages, fact sheets, Q&As, bios and press releases
  • Provide on-site support to clients when needed and interact with the client frequently
  • Deliver an excellent level of client service by articulating client needs to senior managers, updating on project status and priorities and ensuring seamless workflow and communication among all team members
  • Implement plans, provide thoughtful analysis, create and deliver updates and progress reports, as well as provide support as needed around development of PR plans outlining objectives, strategies and tactics
