Summary
Join Eneba's Accounting team as an Accountant responsible for the full-cycle accounting management of Lithuanian and foreign entities. Ensure complete accuracy and compliance by conducting timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, participating in financial audits, and preparing tax reports. Oversee bank reconciliations, invoice management, and general ledger entries. Collaborate with third-party consultants and other departments. Provide guidance to junior team members. This challenging role requires proven expertise in Lithuanian GAAP, IFRS, and international tax regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum 4-5 years of professional experience in accounting, ideally managing full-cycle accounts
- Proven expertise in Lithuanian GAAP, IFRS and international tax regulations
- Experience with complete month-end and year-end closing procedures, including audit participation
- Proficient in advanced Excel and familiar with ERP accounting software
- Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to effectively prioritize and meet tight deadlines
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively across departments
- Fluent in Lithuanian and proficient in English (spoken and written)
Responsibilities
- Independently manage the full accounting cycle, including preparation and closure of financial statements for Lithuanian and foreign entities
- Conduct timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and documented
- Coordinate and actively participate in financial audits, collaborating closely with external auditors
- Prepare and submit accurate tax reports, including i.SAF and VAT declarations, ensuring compliance with Lithuanian and international tax laws
- Oversee and maintain accurate bank reconciliations, invoice management, and general ledger entries
- Work closely with third-party accounting and tax consultants to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting and tax matters
- Cooperate effectively with other departments to facilitate the introduction of new business models and ensure overall compliance
- Provide expert guidance and support to junior accounting team members
