Accountant

The position requires at least 3 years of relevant experience, a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, and strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT regulations. Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a similar role
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho, Tally, or ERP systems)
• Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)

Responsibilities

• Keep financial records accurate and compliant with IFRS and UAE tax laws
• Stay on top of daily transactions, ensuring ledgers, journals, and bank reconciliations are always up to date
• Manage accounts payable and receivable with precision
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements that shine
• Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure everything runs smoothly
• Monitor cash flow and contribute to accurate forecasting
• Prepare VAT returns while ensuring full compliance with FTA regulations
• Maintain and audit fixed asset registers regularly
• Strengthen internal financial controls and suggest improvements to make processes even better
