Accountant

Summary

The job is for an Accountant, Asset Management Services Accounting based in the Philippines. The role involves providing full accounting support for Asset Management Services and critical financial services such as accounting support for residential and commercial solar energy companies, month-end and quarter-end closing processes, financial statement preparation, and supporting audit requests.

Requirements

• Graduate of BS Accountancy, preferably a CPA
• Basic GAAP accounting knowledge
• Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley processes and documentation

Responsibilities

• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
• Prepare account reconciliations according to company guidelines
• Ensures strong accounting processes for residential lease programs and facilities
• Assist the team lead and manager with monthly/quarterly requirements & timely completion of account reconciliations, journal entries, calculations, etc
• Provide support for various account flux analyses needed for quarterly BOD meetings
• Provide support for Interim and Year-end Audit requirements
• Provide analytical support for business decisions and participate in/lead special projects and process improvement initiatives for the group

Preferred Qualifications

• Able to handle multiple projects with the ability to budget time productively
• Strong Excel skills, especially graphing, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and converting Non-Excel data to Excel
