Accountant

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience in the UAE
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Zoho, Tally, or other ERP systems
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial records in compliance with IFRS and UAE tax laws
• Record daily financial transactions and ensure that general ledgers, journals, and bank reconciliations are accurate and up to date
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Liaise with internal departments and external auditors to support audit activities
• Monitor cash flow and assist in preparing financial forecasts
• Prepare VAT returns and ensure full compliance with FTA (Federal Tax Authority) regulations
• Maintain and update fixed asset registers, and conduct regular asset audits
• Support and improve internal financial controls and accounting procedures

Preferred Qualifications

Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage
