Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in expense management, corporate credit card administration, or financial operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial reporting tools, and expense management systems (e.g., Concur, Expensify, SAP, Workday)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and policy compliance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Responsibilities
- Review and approve expense reports, ensuring accuracy, policy adherence, and compliance with financial guidelines
- Assist employees with expense-related issues, including missing receipts and report troubleshooting
- Conduct audits and provide training on T&E policies to ensure proper expense management and compliance
- Prepare, book, and review journal entries related to corporate T&E expenses and corporate credit card transactions throughout the accounting period to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with financial policies
- Perform reconciliations for T&E and corporate card transactions, ensuring accurate and timely journal entry postings for month-end close
- Work closely with accounting teams to support a smooth and efficient close process
- Assist with internal and external audits by gathering and providing necessary documentation related to corporate card transactions and expense reports
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and support audit requests for reconciliations, approvals, and financial records
- Identify inefficiencies, develop training materials, and enhance reporting for cost control
- Analyze spending trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial transparency
- Assist with creating ad hoc internal communication and guidance for major corporate events such as company kickoffs, sales kickoffs, and other large-scale business travel to ensure compliance and smooth expense management
- Assist with administering corporate T&E cards, including issuance, cancellations, credit limits, compliance monitoring, and delinquency management
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with a mid-size startup or large enterprise environment
