Accounting Assistant

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role
• B2 or higher proficiency in English (mandatory)
• In-depth knowledge of Colombian accounting systems and regulations (mandatory)
• Advanced Excel skills (mandatory – assessment required)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable processes efficiently
• Prepare and manage transaction reports regularly
• Process payments and reimbursement requests
• Maintain and update accounting books and records
• Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing
• Support in the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve any financial discrepancies or inquiries
• Ensure accurate recordkeeping and filing of accounting documents

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with U.S. accounting systems is a plus
